Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Director to join our team at T2 Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for implementing forward-thinking financial practices, managing large-scale contracts, and adapting to new funding regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership & Team Management: Lead the finance team, providing direction and fostering a high-performance culture. Oversee recruitment, coaching, and resource planning to align with strategic goals.
  2. Financial Planning and Operations: Manage the financial planning and budgeting processes, oversee month-end accounts, forecasting, payroll, and audits, ensuring timely, accurate reporting and efficient cash flow management.
  3. Commercial: Drive the successful delivery of contracts and tenders, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with regulatory changes.
  4. Auditing & Compliance: Lead internal and external audits, maintaining compliance with funding bodies, Department for Education (DfE) audits, and health & safety regulations.
  5. Business Partnering: Analyse the financial climate, key data and trends to support the senior leadership teams and Executive Board in creating strategic plans for the future.
Requirements:
  1. A professional accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  2. Proven experience in a Financial leadership role
  3. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models
  4. Proficiency in accounting software
  5. An analytical mind with a strategic capability
  6. Excellent organisational and leadership skills
