The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our despatch team, analyzing data, monitoring attendance, and communicating effectively with the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all despatch team administrative duties are completed correctly and efficiently.
- Analyze data relating to the despatch operation to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Monitor the team's attendance and lateness, taking corrective action as necessary.
- Communicate clear, precise, and timely information to the department to ensure seamless operations.
- Help and encourage employees to achieve the best performance and maintain satisfactory standards of conduct.
- Follow strict guidelines and procedures with regards to daily billing of orders being distributed.
- Have good focus and attention to detail in all tasks set.
- Ensure health and safety policies and procedures are being adhered to.
- Identify and respond to issues quickly and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Excellent people management skills.
- A grade C or above in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Experience working in a similar environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels.
- Experience and knowledge in Microsoft Office & SAP.
- Experience of problem solving within tight timelines.
- Confidence in working independently and within a team.
