Maintenance Technician Opportunity

MCS Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Derry/Londonderry. As a key member of our manufacturing client's team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering support and repair on-site manufacturing equipment
  • Oversee scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to reduce equipment failure rates
  • Optimise machinery and plant performance to minimise downtime and optimise OEE
  • Collaborate with production colleagues to maximise process efficiency
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency's and reduce costs
  • Support installation and commissioning of new plant and equipment
  • Contribute to the development of engineering processes and procedures to improve performance of machinery
  • Identify and report on P&M faults and provide feedback and improvement suggestions
  • Assist with installation of P&M
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification(s) in a mechanical or similar engineering discipline
  • Time served in a mechanical maintenance engineering role
  • Experience working on machinery repairs including pneumatic, hydraulic
  • Career exposure within a high-volume production setting
  • Ability to diagnose and solve problems
  • Self-motivated and strong work ethic
