Job Title: Driver Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver Supervisor to join our team at T. Quality Ltd.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of LGV drivers, ensuring the smooth and cost-effective operation of the site LGV fleet. This will involve:

  • Induction and training of new recruits
  • Providing relief cover during holidays and sickness for the driving team
  • Supporting the site management team to ensure compliance with O Licence obligations
  • Completing various administration tasks to ensure daily deliveries are completed within company guidelines
  • Dealing with management issues that may affect the team
  • Making recommendations to the site Operations Manager to improve site operations
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a supervisory role managing a team of LGV drivers
  • A full LGV Category C (Class 2) licence, Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card (CPC)
  • A Forklift Licence would be advantageous, although training can be provided
  • Physical fitness due to the nature of the role
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent customer service skills
