About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Premises Manager to join our team at Whyteleafe. As a key member of our cluster, you will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing our school sites, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain school facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of school premises, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs, working with external contractors as needed
  • Develop and implement energy conservation measures to reduce our environmental impact
  • Lead and manage a small team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective delivery of services
  • Implement and promote school policies and procedures related to facilities management

Requirements

  • Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in an educational setting
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and lead a small team of staff
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel between school sites
  • Willingness to undergo further training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
