Project and Programme Data Reporting Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious Data and Reporting Specialist to join our Project & Programme Services team in the West. As a key member of the P3M team, you will work closely with the UK P3M community to deliver high-quality professional services with cutting-edge expertise to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the capture and documentation of client requirements for data and reporting, and critically challenge the brief where required.
- Take the lead on defining data and reporting strategies.
- Support the design and implementation of new data and reporting solutions, including building digital tools to support our clients.
- Be the point of contact for the client throughout the design and development of the new solution.
- Identify areas in existing Project, Programme, Portfolio, and/or PMO reporting to increase data insights.
- Be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving dashboards, reports, and tools.
- Regularly engage with the client team members and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other offices, service streams, sectors, and the wider AtkinsRéalis business to provide combined and innovative solutions to improve our competitive advantage within the P3M field.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree-level education required (any discipline).
- P3M experience useful, but also open to a business analyst, data and reporting, digital transformation, and/or process improvement background.
- Some knowledge of construction useful, but not essential.
- Awareness of PMOs.
- Awareness of project and programme management methodologies.
- Analytic skills to interrogate data, identify trends, and performance improvement measures.
- Experience of stakeholder management.
- High standard of proficiency in oral and written communication.
- Confident use of Microsoft Office.
- Expertise with the use of Power BI.
- Familiarity with Smartsheet, Alteryx, etc. would be an advantage but is not essential.
