Financial Reporting Manager

Join IHG Hotels & Resorts, a global hospitality leader, in a challenging and rewarding role as a Financial Reporting Manager. As a key member of our Global Financial Reporting team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality financial reports and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare quarterly and year-end reporting information under IFRS for submission to the Group consolidation team, including provision of value-added commentaries and supporting schedules.
- Prepare annual and quarterly consolidated financial statements under US GAAP for relevant subsidiary companies, liaising with the Group tax department, Group treasury, and Company Secretariat.
- Maintain a detailed and up-to-date knowledge of IFRS and other relevant regulatory accounting requirements.
- Establish good working relationships with external auditors to facilitate a smooth audit process.
- Respond to information requests from the Group Tax department, both in the US and UK.
- Help ensure financial systems are developed and maintained to meet legal entity and Group reporting requirements.
- Assist the Group financial reporting team with quarterly analytical review or valuation work.
- Prepare notes to the annual financial statements under IFRS, including liaison with the Group tax department, Group treasury, and Company Secretariat as appropriate.
- Facilitate the external audit of the Group reporting submissions and US consolidated financial statements.
- 2+ years of financial reporting experience in a complex organization using Oracle or equivalent consolidation system and Microsoft Office products.
- Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting under IFRS.
- ACA or equivalent accounting qualification essential.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
