Salary: Up to £60,000 depending on skills and experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering expert advice and guidance on security architecture, including operational aspects (e.g., supply chain and logistics)
- Facilitating stakeholder engagement both internally and externally, including leading security working groups and documenting decisions
- Overseeing the fulfillment of Project Requirements and Deliverables, ensuring a structured plan for security requirements acceptance, and producing the necessary documentation
- Developing, executing, and maintaining security documentation and artefacts
- Applying a practical approach to security design that aligns with requirements and budget constraints
Required Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Comprehensive knowledge of various security frameworks and control sets
- Understanding of risk management principles
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate and influence complex concepts
- Strong technical understanding of security, particularly in Security Architecture
Desirable:
- CISSP certification
- Degree in a STEM-related field
- Chartered Engineer status
All engineers should possess an academic qualification in Engineering or related STEM disciplines, alongside specific qualifications (academic or professional) to achieve recognition as Incorporated or Chartered Engineers through an appropriate professional institution. Support will be provided for engineers to attain relevant accreditations, with preference given to those already professionally registered.

About the Product Security Capability Centre Team:
This role involves supporting the delivery of secure products for both internal and external clients. You will collaborate across all BAE Systems business units throughout the UK, engaging in a variety of unique and exciting projects, which will provide you with diverse experience across multiple products and areas.
