About the Role

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Mechanical Field Service Technician to join our team at WaterForce Limited.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on irrigation and pumping systems
  2. Conduct on-site technical problem-solving and troubleshooting
  3. Identify and address maintenance needs for irrigators and pumping equipment
  4. Provide general service support to other team members
  5. Commission new irrigation systems
  6. Be available for on-call duties, including weekend work

Requirements:

  1. Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  2. Honesty and a strong work ethic
  3. Excellent organizational and practical skills
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  5. Flexibility to work extra hours when necessary
  6. Experience with electrical control circuits (analogue and digital) and good mechanical aptitude
  7. Clean New Zealand driver's license
  8. Preferably experienced in irrigation and pump installations/operation
