About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pharmaceutical Services Specialist to join our team at Pharmiweb. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of clinical trials within our Pharmaceutical Services area.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drug Accountability and Management: Maintain accurate records of drug accountability in accordance with agreed protocols and international standards.
  2. Study Setup and Management: Set up and manage assigned studies from a pharmacy perspective, ensuring timely delivery of study drugs for clinical execution.
  3. Departmental Study Lead: Act as a departmental study lead, setting up study activities and ensuring their smooth execution.
  4. Batch Documentation and Quality Control: Check and prepare batch documentation related to subject dose assembly, packaging, labeling, and dispensing of Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs).
  5. IMP Assembly and Dispensing: Participate in the assembly or dispensing of IMPS and study-related drugs, following approved preparation and dispensing instructions.
  6. Quality and Compliance: Implement quality and compliance procedures, including the review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and working practices.
  7. Housekeeping and Auditing: Maintain routine housekeeping and assist with study audits as required.
  8. Support and Training: Assist and support the Production Manager and deputize during their absence, as well as provide training to Pharmaceutical Service Specialists.
Requirements
  • Post-Qualification Experience: A wealth of post-qualification experience within the pharmaceutical industry, CRO, Phase 1 Unit, or Hospital Pharmacy, working within Quality Assurance, Clinical Trial Packaging/Manufacture.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload. A flexible attitude, with respect to work assignments and new learning, and the ability to work in a matrix environment.
  • Education: A degree in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Science or other life science.
