Main Responsibilities
The Specialist Pharmacist will be tasked with delivering high-quality pharmaceutical information and recommendations, preparing and drafting clinical reports, and producing medication management documentation, ensuring adherence to best practices and current healthcare regulations. The role will also involve overseeing the accurate recording of pharmaceutical transactions, including the management of routine prescriptions and adjustments, in accordance with established standards.
This position will require directing, motivating, and managing a team, playing a crucial role in developing their competencies and collaborating with other senior pharmacy professionals to ensure that the pharmacy function provides exemplary, professional support that meets the needs of the healthcare service.
In providing specialized pharmaceutical expertise and leadership, the post holder will frequently need to engage in intense concentration and sustained mental effort to analyze, comprehend, retain, and communicate information effectively. There will be a regular need to prioritize and adjust workloads based on stakeholder demands and to meet healthcare deadlines.
