We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at King's Mill Hospital, working on our busy respiratory ward.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and supporting our multidisciplinary team.

Main Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing individualised patient care, demonstrating good communication skills and understanding of basic requirements.
  • Working flexibly within working hours of the department, attending regular meetings and contributing to team discussions.
  • Supporting the care team in delivering patient-centred care, adhering to trust policies and procedures.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • NVQ2 in Care or willingness to work towards.
  • Previous customer care experience and life skills.
