ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

Our client began with physical storefronts and has transitioned to an online platform, successfully expanding their loan portfolio to £4 million over the last decade, with continued growth.

Their mission revolves around ethical lending practices, aiming to provide customers with reasonable rates and improved access to financial resources. They also emphasize financial literacy, support, and guidance.

While the compensation may not be the highest in the industry, they offer a supportive culture and a sense of contributing positively to the lending landscape.

ROLE OVERVIEW

In this position, you will oversee the credit risk department, collaborating with an analyst responsible for credit policies, acquisition strategies, scoring methodologies, affordability assessments, management information, and credit committee duties. This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, requiring close collaboration with IT, operations, marketing, and various stakeholders.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proficiency in Python or SQL is preferred
  • Extensive background in credit risk analytics
  • Experience in unsecured lending is advantageous
  • Strong analytical degree is essential
