Job Title: Commercial Contracts Solicitor

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Contracts Solicitor to join our team at Ideal Personnel & Recruitment Solutions Limited.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Contracts Solicitor to work on a non-contentious commercial contracts caseload. The successful candidate will have 5 years PQE and an excellent academic profile, with experience of working in a city or medium/large regional firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a non-contentious commercial contracts caseload, including agency, distribution, data protection, franchising, IT-related agreements, licensing, and exploitation of intellectual property.
  • Work on partnerships and LLPs, competition law, asset finance, and consumer credit.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and contacts.
  • Present to clients and contacts on key legal issues.
  • Work unsupervised, seeking assistance from other team members on more complex matters.
Requirements
  • Excellent academics and strong ambition for career development.
  • Good commercial experience, with mixed corporate/commercial experience considered.
  • Excellent interpersonal and marketing skills.
  • Team player able to fit into a friendly, busy team.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Organisational ability.
  • An eye for detail.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
