About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our small but busy Project Management team. The successful candidate will have a background in new product development and be looking to move into Project Management long term.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee new product development projects, including reporting on project process, budgets, scheduling, risk management, and resource management.
  • Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Analysis and reporting on various elements of the project, including financial reports and forecasts.
  • Use your experience in new product development to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement.
  • Work to deadlines and ensure adherence to KPIs.

Requirements

  • Significant experience working within New Product Development / Innovation with a track record of understanding the NP process end to end.
  • Ideal experience with safety critical projects.
  • Ideal experience with Project Management, with a desire to develop a career in this area.
  • Education to degree level or equivalent within Engineering or Science.
  • Strong analytical and data analysis skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to develop effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Clear leadership and organizational skills, demonstrated through a track record and personal presentation.
  • Team orientated, logical, and results focused mentality.
  • Technical skills, with experience using systems and software.
  • LEAN skills training, such as 5S.
