About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Meadowcroft School. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a wide range of needs, including autistic spectrum disorder.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality education support services to students, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support the class teacher and/or tutor to ensure the delivery of a high-quality education for all students.
  • Assist with the implementation of education policies and procedures, and provide relevant and appropriate support to students.
  • Contribute to the promotion of the physical, educational, and moral development of students.
  • Ensure that equipment and resources are used efficiently, and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate staff.
  • Support the class teacher and/or tutor in organizing the classroom, its resources, student groupings, and displays to provide a stimulating learning environment.
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of individual student plans, including Behaviour Support Profiles, Individual Risk Assessments, and Individual Education Plans.
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher and/or tutor to ensure the safety of students, in line with risk assessments.
  • Produce resources and teaching aids as requested by the class teacher and/or tutor.
