About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Acorn Park School, a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school with a focus on supporting young people with Autism.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of our pupils, helping them to reach their full potential and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher in preparing learning materials and running classroom activities
  • Assist with the emotional and physical needs of pupils, promoting their independence and well-being
  • Participate in outdoor experiences and activities, both on and off site, to support pupil learning and development
Requirements

We are looking for an individual who is adaptable, responsive, and caring, with a passion for working with young people with Autism. You will have a driving licence and be willing to administer medication, as well as complete a L2 course as part of your induction period.
