Education Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Acorn Park School, a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school with a focus on supporting young people with Autism.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of our pupils, helping them to reach their full potential and live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities- Support the class teacher in preparing learning materials and running classroom activities
- Assist with the emotional and physical needs of pupils, promoting their independence and well-being
- Participate in outdoor experiences and activities, both on and off site, to support pupil learning and development
We are looking for an individual who is adaptable, responsive, and caring, with a passion for working with young people with Autism. You will have a driving licence and be willing to administer medication, as well as complete a L2 course as part of your induction period.
