Accountancy Practice Team Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our Huddersfield-based Accountancy Practice. As a Team Leader, you will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the office, ensuring efficient delivery of services to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete weekly timesheets accurately
  • Attend networking events
  • Liaise with other team leaders and share workload to alleviate pressure when required
  • Produce and monitor budgets for office revenues
  • Approach the board with proposals for the office to deliver services to clients
  • Invoice for work completed and ensure those who also invoice do so in the correct timeframes
  • Update the system with job stages, prioritise work and allocate jobs to staff to meet deadlines
  • Deal with queries from clients and pass onto the appropriate member of the team
  • Review WIP and assist in reducing the lock-up time of WIP
  • Ensure all documentation from the company is professionally presented using company templates
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, ensuring they are kept aware of any delays if timelines are not achievable
  • Seek opportunities and referrals
