Job Opportunity: Practice Development Team Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled professional to join our Practice Development Team as a Practice Development Team Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Service Manager to deliver, develop, and influence high-quality social work strengths-based practice that promotes positive outcomes for individuals who draw on care and support within adult services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of the Making a Difference Every Day Strategy and embed the practice framework.
  • Undertake practice audits to identify areas of good practice and provide expert advice to frontline staff and managers.
  • Work closely with the Policy and Quality Assurance Team and Strategic Safeguarding Unit to embed the Quality Assurance Framework.
  • Manage a team of Practice Development Officers and provide support as directed to the Consultant Social Worker and Newly Qualified Social Work Supervisors.
Requirements:
  • Extensive post-qualification experience of front-line social work practice.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a Countywide role with an office base in Maidstone.
