Senior Accountant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients with their financial needs, providing expert advice and guidance on financial matters.

Job Purpose
  • Prepare and review financial statements for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert advice on financial matters, including tax planning and financial forecasting.
  • Manage and mentor junior staff, providing training and guidance on financial procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Work closely with senior team members to ensure seamless delivery of financial services.

Requirements
  • ACCA or ACA qualified or part qualified with preferably a minimum of two years' post qualification experience.
  • Proven track record of working with clients within practice.
  • Working knowledge of accounting software, including Sage, QuickBooks and Xero.
  • Experience using software for accounts production, such as CCH.
  • Strong communication and advisory skills.
  • Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage a team's workflow.
  • A team player able to bring out the best in others.
