About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Centre Manager to lead our team in delivering Alzheimer Scotland's programme of support for individuals concerned about their brain health or affected by dementia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team providing expert advice, listening, opportunities, information, and support to individuals and families affected by dementia.
  • Embed the ALOIS programme within daily practice and work closely with the Centres Lead to bring the programme to life.
  • Develop and maintain strong networking skills and experience of collaborating and developing partnerships both internally and externally.
  • Line manage staff within the Centre, including development and supporting a network of volunteers.
  • Ensure a warm, flexible approach, with skills in empathy and relationship building.
Requirements
  • Understanding of the aims and values of Alzheimer Scotland.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Recognised professional qualification and/or relevant experience with a willingness to learn and participate in training.
  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience of working with people with dementia would be an advantage.
