Aon is seeking a driven individual to join our Structured Credit team, playing a vital role in supporting clients throughout their entire journey with us.

This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work both virtually and from our London office.

About the Role

As a Client Director/Structured Credit & Political Risk Broker, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing comprehensive solutions for clients in the corporate, trader, and financial institution sectors. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of activities, from identifying client needs to structuring and placing credit risk insurance policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Collaborate with sales and client management teams across EMEA to develop and execute strategies for originating and developing structured credit opportunities. Identify and cultivate cross-selling opportunities within Aon's diverse portfolio of services.
  • Client Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Broking: Lead the end-to-end broking process for clients, encompassing placement structuring, wording negotiations, policy management, and claims handling (where applicable). Leverage bespoke platforms to enhance client offerings and streamline processes.
  • Portfolio Management: Assist in managing both new and existing policies, ensuring accurate documentation and ongoing client communication.

Skills and Qualifications
  • University graduate (preferred fields: Law, Economics, Social Sciences) or a non-university graduate with relevant work experience.
  • Fluency in foreign languages is highly advantageous.
  • Proven broking skills; experience in either the broking or CPRI market is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to articulate reasoning and contribute to positive client outcomes.
  • A strong commercial drive and a collaborative spirit, thriving in a dynamic team environment.
