We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Deputy Home Manager at Electus Healthcare.

This is a brilliant permanent opportunity offering Monday-Friday, 9-5 hours and paying a competitive salary plus a range of bonus' and company benefits.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Home Manager in key areas of service provision and ensure high standards of care are maintained in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide leadership and advice to colleagues and undertake line management responsibilities in the absence of the Home Manager.
  • Co-ordinate and lead on the quality and management of care and treatment of residents, providing support for residents when required.
  • Participate fully with the multidisciplinary team and undertake direct patient care as required, managing and directing the delivery of clinical services.

Desired Criteria:

  • A leadership or management qualification is desired.
  • They must demonstrate good commercial acumen and how to make the Home a successful business, a good understanding of purchasing, expenditures and budgets is desirable.

Required Criteria:

  • To be eligible for the role the candidate must be a nurse currently registered with the NMC. They must be able to evidence CPD and that revalidation requirements have been met.
  • Previous line management experience is essential, and they must be able to demonstrate strong leadership qualities and the ability to lead and develop a team.
  • They must be able to demonstrate an up-to-date working knowledge of regulatory and procedural requirements in relation all aspects of management of the home and resident support plans.
  • The candidate must demonstrate strong clinical skills and ability to complete audits identify shortfalls and implement action
  • They must demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team and drive performance in the absence of a Home Manager.
