Lead Data Engineer

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Engineer to join our team. As a Lead Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing data management systems that collect, validate, and present data used for business insights and BI processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Management: Design and implement data management systems that meet the needs of the business.
  • SQL Expertise: Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to extract insights from large datasets.
  • Cloud Knowledge: Leverage cloud-based technologies to design and implement scalable data management systems.
  • Agile Methodologies: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions using agile methodologies.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure data-driven decision making.

Requirements

  • Expert SQL Knowledge: Proven experience with data warehouses, data marts, and ETL processes.
  • Data Modelling: Strong understanding of data modelling principles and practices.
  • Cloud Knowledge: Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS.
  • Power BI Knowledge: Familiarity with Power BI and its applications in data visualization.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Housing Sector Experience: Experience working within the housing sector would be advantageous.
