About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team at Bright Horizons Little DISCoveries Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our nursery team, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage a team of early years professionals to provide high-quality care and education to children.
  2. Develop and implement engaging learning activities and experiences that meet the needs of all children.
  3. Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
  4. Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding.
  5. Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment.
Requirements
  1. Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  2. Previous experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, or Early Years Educator.
  3. Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  4. Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children.
  5. Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
