About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Dental Nurse at Roxburgh Dental Practice. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide chair-side support to dentists and hygienists during treatments, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Assist with patient preparation, including taking medical histories and updating patient records.
  • Maintain a clean and organized surgery, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  • Support the reception team with administrative tasks, such as answering phones and managing patient appointments.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • GDC registration and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Experience working in a dental practice, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A high level of attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence.
