Job Summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Biology Graduate Teaching Assistant to support the delivery of an exciting science curriculum in a well-resourced secondary school in East London.

About the Role

This is an ideal opportunity for a science graduate who is eager to support targeted groups of learners and aid them in reaching and exceeding attainment goals. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to deliver engaging science lessons and provide additional support to students who require it.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of science lessons to students of all abilities
  • Provide additional support to students who require it, including small group and one-to-one tuition
  • Work closely with class teachers to develop and implement effective lesson plans
  • Assist with the preparation and marking of science resources
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in a science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students of all ages and abilities
