Oxford Global Resources is seeking a highly skilled Junior Quality Control Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for conducting microbiological testing, contamination assessments, and physical examinations of bottled and plated products.
This is a 3-month contract position with the possibility of extension. Our client is a world-leading biotechnology company, and the site is located in East Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct microbiological testing in compliance with ISO 17025 and ISO 13485/9001 Quality Management Systems and Quality Policies.
- Report any non-conforming results to the QC Team Leader or Quality Manager.
- Adhere strictly to established laboratory procedures when performing tests, ensuring compliance with UKAS and other regulatory standards.
- Accurately sample, test, and report on the quality control of plated and bottled samples submitted to the laboratory, ensuring timely and precise results.
Requirements:
- BSc in Microbiology or a related field.
- Experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time (100%) position.
- On-site work at the client's location in East Scotland.
