About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Practitioner Psychologist to join our team at With You. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with complex mental health needs and substance misuse issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical supervision and guidance to our team members
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans for clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and interventions to address trauma and addiction
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Develop and deliver training programs for staff on trauma-informed care and substance misuse
Requirements
  • Postgraduate Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology, or equivalent
  • Registered with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist, with evidence of continuing professional development
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a practitioner psychologist, with a minimum of 1 year in substance misuse
  • Advanced training in evidence-based psychological therapies for substance misuse
  • Experience in providing psychological treatments for trauma, including EMDR and trauma-focused CBT
  • Accreditation with BABCP as a supervisor or trainer
Desirable Skills
  • Experience in supervising the practice of psychology staff
  • Knowledge of specialized psychological assessments and interventions
  • Experience working across multiple service bases within a designated geographical area
