Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Operations Manager to join our Sortation Centre Solutions team in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for managing the Sortation Solutions team and ensuring the efficient and effective provision of security services and asset protection across the EMEA Sortation Centre environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement comprehensive security projects and programs aligned with organizational goals, leveraging industry best practices and risk-based approaches.
  2. Identify, assess, and prioritize risks, developing strategic risk mitigation strategies to minimize threats to people, assets, and operations.
  3. Collaborate with senior management across EMEA to build a culture of security awareness, foster a positive working relationship, and share best practices with global teams.
  4. Develop and manage strategic goals, roadmaps, and drive strategic initiatives to enhance security posture and operational resilience.
  5. Lead and manage a dispersed team, providing guidance on security operations, risk management, and compliance.
Requirements
  • A relevant degree or degree equivalent, such as business, project management, criminal justice, or security management.
  • Relevant experience in industry practice, including leading projects and programs to reduce risk within operational processes.
  • Proven experience managing a team dispersed across a geographical area, with expertise in development, hiring, and performance management.
  • Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English, with the ability to communicate complex security concepts effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A relevant advanced degree or degree equivalent, such as business, criminal justice, or security management.
  • Relevant industry certification, such as ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Diploma for Certified Security Management Professionals (CSMP).
  • Project management certification, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2.
  • Relevant experience in project management and delivery, with a focus on security operations and risk management.
  • Upper intermediate proficiency in a second European language.
