About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to lead our residential care services for young people with autism. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support are delivered in a unique and sustainable setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of care staff to deliver high-quality care and support to young people with autism.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations, including CIW and County Council requirements.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement plans to address areas for improvement.
  • Compile and submit regular quality of care reports to the business manager/directors.
  • Audit care-related documentation and provide support and guidance to staff.
  • Participate in CIW inspections and assist with compliance issues and actions.
Requirements
  • Significant operational experience in a care environment, working with all levels of staff and management.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage emotionally challenging situations and be a team player with experience in support work in both educational and residential settings.
  • Ensure the effective operation of two or more small care homes for young people.
  • Have a high level of personal resilience and emotional and social intelligence.
  • Oversee and supervise the residential staff within a minimum of two care homes, ensuring they are appropriately trained and supported.
