Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Software Engineer to join our team in London. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust, scalable systems using Java and related technologies.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality web and mobile applications using various frameworks and tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve our services.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English and Mandarin/Cantonese.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java.
  • Hands-on experience with web services, AWS/Azure, DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and mobile app development using various frameworks.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3) and back-end frameworks (Java).
  • Experience in designing RESTful APIs and developing mobile apps for both Android and iOS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of full-stack web/mobile development, including protocols, web server optimization, and cross-platform development frameworks.
  • Broad knowledge of Oracle, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding of OWASP security principles and session management in distributed server environments.
  • 1+ years of experience in software development.
  • Experience with automated testing platforms and unit tests.
  • Knowledge of Git, HTML5, JSON, and experience in database schema design to support business processes.
