About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Java Developer to join our team at Adlam Consulting Ltd. as a Front Office Java Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining low latency pricing and connectivity systems for our investment banking clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy high-performance Java applications for our Front Office pricing platform.
  • Collaborate with trading, Front Office, and research teams to identify and prioritize system enhancements and new feature development.
  • Work closely with our technology team to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure high-quality code and efficient deployment.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our development processes.

Requirements:

  • Strong Java development skills, including experience with multi-threaded programming.
  • Experience in FX/FWD business and/or high-performance/low latency development.
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A computer science or equivalent degree.
