Role Title: HR Business Partner

Reports to: HR Manager

Salary: £35,000 - £37,000

Contract: Full Time – 12 Month Fixed Term (Maternity Cover)

Work Arrangement: 40 hours per week, Hybrid

Role Overview:

Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Business Partner will serve as a strategic HR consultant, cultivating robust relationships with our teams and services to address their personnel needs and propel key initiatives.

This position will ensure effective employee relations, talent management, and performance enhancement, contributing to a positive and productive workplace. By collaborating with key stakeholders, the HR Business Partner will improve organizational effectiveness and support Enable's objectives. This role is part of our Central Services division.

Central Services ensures the organization operates efficiently and aids in achieving Enable's strategic goals. Supporting the various services that comprise Enable, Central Services consists of small, high-output teams, including Human Resources, Marketing Communications, Operations, and Finance. Together, these teams form the backbone of our organization, driving our mission and fostering growth and development.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Business Partnering: Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders across various services and teams, acting as a trusted HR consultant.
  • Employee Relations: Address and resolve complex employee relations matters, conducting thorough and impartial investigations when necessary.
  • Talent Management: Assist in the recruitment process, support the selection process, and facilitate onboarding and orientation for new employees.
  • HR Initiatives: Lead and support HR projects and initiatives aligned with the organization's strategic objectives, collaborating with the HR team to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Performance Management: Aid in the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development planning, and provide guidance on performance improvement strategies.
  • Learning and Development: Identify training requirements, facilitate learning and development programs, and support career advancement and growth opportunities for employees.
  • HR Analytics and Reporting: Analyze HR metrics, provide insights to drive data-informed decision-making, and prepare and present regular HR reports to the HR Manager and senior leadership.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Advocate for and support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organization.
  • Stakeholder Coaching: Offer coaching and support to managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
  • Organizational Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of talent management and succession planning strategies to ensure organizational effectiveness.
