Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nursery Room Manager to join our team at Busy Bees Morden Nursery. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of childcare and education are maintained.

About the Role

As a Senior Room Manager, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting the team, role-modeling best practice, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the nursery. You will work closely with the nursery management team to achieve our goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of childcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and education to children.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the nursery meets the highest standards of childcare and education.
  • Conduct observations, assessments, and planning for children, and provide developmentally challenging next steps.
  • Ensure the nursery is a safe and welcoming environment for children, staff, and parents.
  • Collaborate with the nursery management team to achieve our goals and objectives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 Childcare qualification
  • Managerial experience in a childcare setting
