Position: FP&A MANAGER – CASH PLANNING & ANALYTICS

Location: London Victoria (hybrid model, minimum 3 days in office).

Nord Anglia Education is seeking a skilled FP&A Manager to enhance our Finance team within the Group Central Support framework.

This role involves collaboration with our central, regional, and school teams to oversee liquidity, working capital, cash planning, and analytics. The focus will be on maximizing cash flow from operations and facilitating the extraction of cash to the group. Your responsibilities will include optimizing cash availability throughout the organization and leading the development and execution of the company's liquidity, cash flow planning, and forecasting processes. Additionally, you will contribute to the strategic creation and implementation of working capital management and cash extraction strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain precise cash flow financial models to project operating cash flow from operating EBITDA, integrating key drivers and assumptions such as sales volumes, collection periods, and payment terms.
  • Perform comprehensive analysis of working capital components to uncover optimization opportunities. Identify and evaluate potential cash flow risks and opportunities while collaborating with Finance teams on working capital management initiatives.
  • Oversee capital planning and capital expenditure plans, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and cash flow availability.
  • Prepare detailed cash flow reports and presentations, offering insightful commentary to senior management on critical metrics and trends. Assist in the preparation of presentations for the Executive Committee and Board.
  • Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing to evaluate the impact of various factors on cash flow, including economic fluctuations and changes in customer payment behavior.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in FP&A, cash flow planning, forecasting, and modeling, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role, supported by relevant accounting qualifications (CIMA/ACT/ACA or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience in a geographically diverse multinational organization, thriving in a multicultural environment.
  • Proficient in ERP systems, Finance and Treasury operations, as well as Cash Planning and Analytics.
