About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Assurance Engineer to join our team at Bluestream People. As a Product Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of cutting-edge satellite communication products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Enforce Product Assurance Plans: Create and implement project-specific Product Assurance Plans to ensure consistent compliance across the supply chain.
  • Oversee Quality Assurance: Manage quality assurance for parts, materials, and processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
  • Participate in Design Reviews and Evaluations: Contribute to design reviews and customer/supplier evaluations to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Manage Non-Conformances and Critical Items: Manage and support processes related to non-conformances, critical items, and change control.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance Tasks: Execute quality assurance tasks during Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration, and Test (MAIT) phases, both in-house and at vendor facilities.
  • Drive Quality Management System Activities: Lead Quality Management System activities, including internal audits, lessons learned, continuous improvement, and process/quality metric analysis.
  • Serve as Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer and supplier-related quality assurance activities.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent: Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or a related technical field.
  • Proven Experience in Product or Quality Assurance: Possess proven experience in Product or Quality Assurance within a regulated spaceflight manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on Experience in Spaceflight Hardware: Have hands-on experience in the design, manufacturing, testing, qualification, and delivery of spaceflight hardware.
  • Strong Technical Writing Skills: Possess strong technical writing skills, with experience producing comprehensive technical documents.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems: Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) and their implementation in an industrial setting.
  • Proficiency in Quality Tools and Methods: Proficiency in quality tools, methods, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of RAMS, Radiation, and EEE Parts: Knowledge and/or experience with RAMS, Radiation, EEE Parts, Materials, and Processes.
