Commercial Assistant Accountant Opportunity

Hays Accountancy & Finance is partnering with a leading FMCG group to recruit a driven and dynamic Commercial Assistant Accountant for their Gloucester office.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will offer remote/office hybrid working and a study package for ACCA/CIMA/ACA. As a Commercial Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for providing insightful analysis on business performance, assisting with the preparation and reporting of monthly and year-to-date sales performance, and supporting the annual budgeting process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation and reporting of monthly and year-to-date sales performance
  • Support the annual budgeting process
  • Drive an understanding of the accrual process across business units
  • Liaise with other departments to correct any variances
  • Support effective decision-making
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have some core finance experience with an accounts department, ideally AAT or degree qualified studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA with strong MS Excel skills, and key relationship building skills to partner at all levels internally and externally.

What We Offer

This permanent Commercial Assistant Accountant role offers a salary between £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, remote/office hybrid working, flexible working hours, study package for CIMA/ACCA/ACA, career development/progression, contributed pension scheme, product discounts, and further group benefits.
