We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Executive Chef Assistant to join our culinary team at Richmond Hill Hotel.

Located in the heart of London, we are an independently owned Georgian hotel that offers a unique and refreshing break from the traditional hotel experience. Our team is the heart and soul of everything we do, and we are committed to providing exceptional hospitality to our guests.

The successful candidate will have a passion for creating profitable and exciting specials, and will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will be creative, enthusiastic, and have a desire to succeed within a professional team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of meals
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and specials
  • Work effectively in a team to ensure seamless service
  • Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Contribute to the development of the hotel's culinary team

Requirements:

  • Apprentice Chef or Commis Chef with a passion for cooking
  • Experience working in a hotel environment is desirable, but not essential
  • Outstanding cooking skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with colleagues
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn and develop new skills

Is This Role Right for You?

· You'll already be an Apprentice Chef or a Commis Chef seeking your next challenge

· Whilst it would be great if you had experience working in a hotel environment, this isn't essential, what is important is your outstanding cooking skills gained within a fast-paced environment

· You will be creative and have a passion for creating profitable and exciting specials

· You have an interest in classical techniques and authentic fresh dishes

· Enthusiasm to succeed within a professional team

· Desire to challenge yourself in a busy kitchen
