Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated SENDIASS Support Worker to join our team at Polaris Children's Services.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.

The successful candidate will work closely with our team to provide high-quality support and guidance to families, ensuring they receive the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional support and guidance to families
  • Assist with completing forms and paperwork
  • Attend meetings and appointments with families
  • Develop and maintain relationships with families and professionals

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of SEND policies and procedures

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £15,771.43 pro rata salary (£23,000 FTE)
  • A part-time, permanent contract with 24 hours per week
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including 30 days' Annual Leave (increasing to 35 days' with length of service) + Bank Holidays, Company Pension, and Life Assurance

Location:

This role is home-based and requires travel within Hampshire on a regular basis.
