Junior Electrical Maintenance Specialist – FM Service Provider - Commercial Buildings

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a Junior Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join a well-established building services company based in London. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting a skilled maintenance professional to be based in a commercial building in the City of London.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This position would be ideal for an Electrical Mobile Engineer currently in a similar role.

The company is offering a competitive salary of £35,000, with a potential route into further career progression. The successful candidate will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lighting installation, fault-finding, and maintenance
  • Emergency lighting testing
  • Control panel maintenance
  • Ballast replacement
  • BMS System monitoring
  • Identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment
  • Remaining flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency
  • Escorting specialist subcontractors
Requirements
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled with electrical and mechanical knowledge
  • Good communication skills
  • Client-facing experience
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles and systems
  • Previous experience of performing a Building Services Engineer role
  • Ability to work unsupervised to a high quality
  • Relevant qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering
