Hireful is seeking a highly organized and creative Workshop Manager to lead their dynamic workshop provision in Inverness. As the operational lead, you will be responsible for managing a team of Workshop Leaders, volunteers, and Workshop Assistants to deliver high-quality support and care to individuals with learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of Workshop Leaders, volunteers, and Workshop Assistants to provide a productive and authentic work experience for attendees.
- Develop and implement co-produced service development plans to enhance the workshop provision.
- Deliver group workshop sessions and manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop.
- Collaborate with the senior leader team to develop and implement strategies to improve the workshop provision.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- Experience in leading and working with teams to provide high-quality support and care to individuals with learning disabilities.
- Knowledge of Augmentative and Alternative Communication methods, such as Makaton, BSL, Talking Mats, and PECS.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
