Electrical Design Engineer

CV Library is working with a leading Building Services Consultancy to find an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their design team.
The company offers a range of services including Surveys, Feasibility Studies, Report and Advisory Work, Design, Building Modelling and Thermal Simulation, Construction Monitoring and Supervision, Project Management, Energy Advice, BREEAM Assessments, and Expert Witness.
Their experience encompasses all types of projects including Commercial, Leisure, Retail, Residential, Mixed Use, Education, Healthcare, Industrial, Scientific, Technology, Historic, and Law & Order.
The PositionAs the Senior Electrical Design Engineer, your role will involve the following key areas:
- Collaborate with the design team to deliver high-quality projects and provide excellent client care and reporting.
- Conduct site surveys and prepare reports as required.
- Develop and deliver technical reports and designs.
- Carry out condition surveys and feasibility studies.
- Produce designs, calculations, room data sheets, equipment schedules, specifications, and other technical information.
- Assist with the supervision and mentoring of junior engineers and provide technical support to others.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with a degree in a relevant engineering discipline and a background in Electrical Engineering or Building Services design environment.
Key skills and qualifications include:
- Technical report writing.
- Design experience using Amtech, IESVE, AutoCAD, and/or 3D Revit software packages.
- Strong MS Office skills, especially MS Excel.
