About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Support Worker to join our Imaging Team at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our professional staff with patient care and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of high-quality imaging services across various modalities.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Assist in training new healthcare assistants and support workers.
- Help manage and update support worker rotas.
- Oversee stock maintenance and ordering.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including cannulation, venepuncture, and Point of Care Testing (POCT).
- Maintain and update patients' electronic imaging records using Trust and departmental systems.
Person Specification
Education & Qualifications
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health-related subject/Care Certificate.
- Trained in cannulation, venepuncture, and Point of Care Testing (POCT).
Experience
- Previous experience as a care assistant in a NHS or private healthcare environment.
Key Skills
- Ability to communicate appropriately with patients/carers/multi-disciplinary team. Communicating clearly in English in both verbal and written forms.
