Splunk Security Specialist - Hybrid Role
Broster Buchanan is a prominent player in the European technology sector, specializing in IT, software, and digital consulting services. We are currently seeking a dedicated Splunk Security Specialist to enhance our team. This permanent position involves leading the design, documentation, and implementation of security monitoring solutions that provide critical data for our Security Operations Center (SOC).
This role operates in a hybrid model, requiring two days per week on-site presence.
Security Clearance
Full Security Clearance or eligibility for Security Clearance is a prerequisite for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and design of SPLUNK within the Security Engineering domain.
- Manage large-scale client engagements effectively.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Evaluate risks and understand the implications of emerging technologies.
- Design, implement, and maintain SIEM solutions utilizing Splunk.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in SPLUNK and SIEM technologies.
- Experience with various environments including cloud, on-premises, SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
- Strong background in security incident response and malware analysis.
- Excellent coding capabilities.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP-ISSEP, CCSP, CCNA, and SABSA.
- Eligibility for Security Clearance.
