Purchase Ledger Clerk Job Description

JHE & Partners Ltd is seeking a part-time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the purchase ledger on an end-to-end basis, working closely with another part-time colleague.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process daily invoices in relation to stock
  • Perform 3-way reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly supplier statements
  • Raise purchase orders
  • Match GRI, coding, and query handling
  • Reconcile monthly credit card spend, coding, and reconciling
  • Process daily bank recs
  • Raise and process weekly and bi-monthly supplier payments
Requirements:
  • Previous purchase ledger experience is essential
  • Proficiency in accounting software is required
  • Accounts payable experience is also required
