Medical Records Clerk

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Records/GDPR Clerk to join our team at Yorkshire Clinic, based in Bingley. As a Medical Records/GDPR Clerk, you will be responsible for the management of all medical records and GDPR requests, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support consultants with fast and precise record creation
- Manage the GDPR process and systems for the hospital
- Deal with Subject Access Requests
- Ensure medical records information is available at all times
- Compile case notes and outpatient clinics
- Scan and archive medical records
- Provide an efficient scanning service to the hospital
- Undertake ad-hoc analysis and projects as requested
Requirements:
- Excellent IT skills and accuracy
- Audio typing experience – desirable not essential
- Experience of multi-tasking and working to strict deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- High attention to detail
- Knowledge of GDPR and relevant legislation pertinent to patient information
