Job Title: Parts Manager - Inventory Control Specialist

Salary: £40,000 DOE - depending on experience and qualifications

Location: Lincoln, LN6

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Parts Manager to oversee the inventory control and procurement of parts for our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the picking and packing of customer orders, booking deliveries, and implementing stock management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee order preparation: Managing the picking and packing of parts of customer orders
  • Booking deliveries through various couriers and our own parts delivery service
  • Stock control: Organising and ensuring all parts, service items and consumables are regularly replenished, providing a prompt service to customers and our own workshop
  • Implement and develop stock management systems
  • Daily invoicing of customer orders
  • Advertising and updating the parts listed on the company website
  • Customer service: Help customers with enquiries, developing customer relationships by providing sound product knowledge and a continually effective service

Requirements:

  • Experience working in the same or very similar role
  • Experience working in a similar environment, with a knowledge of Refuse Collection Vehicles and associated vehicles would be desirable, but is not essential
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • An eagerness to get involved and improve current systems
  • Sound IT skills (Excel, Word & Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of inventory management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full valid UK driving licence
