We are in search of a proficient Mechanical Technician to oversee the upkeep and repair of various vehicles and horticultural machinery. The ideal candidate will possess a robust mechanical skill set and a dedication to maintaining and repairing a diverse range of vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular maintenance on vehicles, including mowers, strimmers, rotovators, and all forms of horticultural machinery, such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake assessments.
  • Identify and rectify mechanical faults on vans, tractors, and trucks.
  • Perform vehicle inspections to detect potential issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Test drive vehicles post-repair to verify proper operation.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot intricate mechanical problems.
  • Keep precise records of all maintenance and repair activities.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Mechanical Technician or in a comparable position.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
  • Capability to work autonomously and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills to articulate technical matters clearly.
