Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified clinical psychologist to develop and/or build upon existing neuropsychological and neurobehavioural skills and knowledge. The successful candidate will work alongside a comprehensive multidisciplinary team to deliver psychological input across the hospital.

Main Duties:
  • Deliver psychological input across the hospital
  • Work alongside a comprehensive multidisciplinary team
  • Inform and provide effective, evidence-based care pathways within the service
  • Develop and/or build upon existing neuropsychological and neurobehavioural skills and knowledge

The postholder will have a key role in informing and providing effective, evidence-based care pathways within the service. Although the predominant focus of work is neuropsychology and dementia, there are opportunities for working with people with severe and enduring mental health problems, forensic histories and learning disabilities. Staff teamwork and risk assessment/management are components of the role.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide clinical support, training and consultancy to our staff teams and there will be opportunities to inform service development. Our organisation places a strong emphasis and value on psychological services and will invest in your ongoing development. You will be part of a large clinical services department across our group with access to clinical and forensic psychologists and allied health professionals.
